Put your strong administrative skills to use as a Sales & Administrative Assistant!  This full-time opportunity is at a family-run, international manufacturer in Newport, NH. You’ll work in an office setting with access to the manufacturing floor. Our client is open to full-time or part-time hours!

Responsibilities of the Sales & Administrative Assistant

  • Process customer quotes, order entry, and order confirmations
  • Manage customer invoicing
  • Monitor orders and update customers as necessary
  • Process engineering department change orders
  • Maintain time records for production department
  • Process purchase requisitions
  • Create reports
  • File documents
  • Update database with customer information
  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Perform other administrative support tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Sales & Administrative Assistant

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of customer service/administrative experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Polished, professional written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office, ERP software)
