Sales Assistant

A well known Seacoast wholesale distributor is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their busy sales team. This is a dynamic role combining customer service and inventory management responsibilities.

Duties for the Sales Assistant role include:

  • Provide quotes and sales orders for customers
  • Assists with product research
  • Assists with the coordination of shipping and returns
  • Generates purchase orders
  • Cold calls/lead generation

Qualified candidates for the Sales Assistant role will possess the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience in a comparable role
  • Prior sales/lead generation/sales support experience
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office skills
  • Experience working within an ERP system

This is a full-time, long-term role. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand upon their customer service experience.The Sales Assistant does require organizational and time-management capabilities to flourish within this exciting and fast-paced environment. The schedule is 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday.
