Senior Accountant

Put your skills to work at this Senior Accountant opportunity in Windsor, VT! You’ll assist a small medical facility in all financial operations in this full-time, direct-hire role. This position is perfect for someone with previous experience in hospital accounting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Maintain financial accounts and records
• Make general ledger entries and review journal for accuracy
• Reconcile accounts and bank statements
• Oversee billing
• Assist in the preparation of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Assist with year-end audits, cost reports, and budget development
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant

• Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Previous accounting experience in a hospital setting
• Empathetic team player
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. After the first 3-4 weeks fully onsite, the company may be open to a hybrid schedule for the right candidate. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $37.10-$55.68/hour. We look forward to hearing from you about this Senior Accountant opportunity!
