From 2006 – 2016 she was the Branch Manager for Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. Prior to moving to the east coast, Amber worked for two large, national, staffing firms. Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

Join a successful real estate business in Portsmouth, NH as an Accounting Specialist! This is a part-time position that works 30 hours or so per week and manages all aspects of accounts receivable, from preparing invoices to following up on aging accounts. This is a great opportunity for a skilled accounting professional who enjoys a fast-paced position!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist

  • Enter new customers into database
  • Prepare and send invoices
  • Create journal entries
  • Deposit incoming payments
  • Follow up on aging accounts
  • Prepare regular reports
  • Assist with accounts payable when necessary
  • Perform other related accounting tasks and projects

Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist

  • Prior accounting experience, preferably within accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing to cross-train
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
