Put your strong executive support skills to work at this fantastic Senior Administrative Assistant role! You’ll serve as primary point of contact for a busy department Director. The ideal candidate has a polished, professional demeanor while juggling multiple priorities all at once. This role can be hybrid, with 2-3 days onsite at their Hanover, NH office, or potentially fully remote.

Responsibilities of the Senior Administrative Assistant

  • Screen visitors and callers and filter requests
  • Manage a complex daily appointment calendar
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements
  • Prepare documents, draft correspondence, and maintain records
  • Coordinate travel logistics and prepare reimbursement forms for submission
  • Attend meetings as requested, prepare summaries, record action items, and conduct follow-up
  • Organize activities, complete special assignments, and perform other support tasks as required

Qualifications of the Senior Administrative Assistant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting senior leadership in an academic or corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Detail-oriented, thoughtful, flexible, and able to anticipate needs
  • Experience working in an academic setting
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Experience with scheduling and calendar support and balancing competing demands in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication with strong editorial, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills
  • Highly proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office 365, web-based searches, Qualtrics, WordPress, Mailchimp, mobile phone applications, and social media applications
