Senior Civil Project Engineer (Municipal)
Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer (Municipal) to assist the team with delivering road and water-based projects. You can join the team at the company’s Portsmouth, NH or Concord, NH locations. Responsibilities of the Senior Civil Project Engineer (Municipal)

• Assist the engineering team in application of principles, methods, and techniques of civil and environmental engineering technology
• Lead medium to large projects or tasks, deliver solutions to complex engineering problems, and meet client needs
• Understand pertinent civil and environmental engineering aspects and applicable codes and regulations
• Communicate directly with the client during the design phase
• Communicate with client, project representatives, regulatory officials, contractors, and funding agencies during construction
• Help prepare project proposals and contracts, oversee shop drawing submittals, and create, review, and maintain project-related documentation
• Visit construction sites to observe conformance to design specifications
• Perform startup services for all projects
• Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications of the Senior Civil Project Engineer (Municipal)

• BS in Engineering
• 6 years of engineering experience  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Proficient with and/or able to learn specific engineering design/modeling software in area of specialty
• Experience with Bluebeam preferred
• Valid Professional Engineer license in NH, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• 10 Hour OSHA Training Certificate
