Senior Estimating and Manufacturing Engineer

A precision sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining company is seeking a Senior Estimating and Manufacturing Engineer in Contoocook, NH. In this role you would work with clients to design the manufacturing process for a vast array of prototypes. This is a great direct-hire opportunity at a growing company with a fast-paced, collaborative environment!

Responsibilities of the Senior Estimating and Manufacturing Engineer

  • Communicate with customers on requirements for the development of prototypes of many different materials and processes
  • Review technical drawings and communicate with customers and internal staff to determine cost and feasibility of projects
  • Assess and acquire equipment needed for projects
  • Determine routing of projects through shop and standard work instructions

Qualifications of the Senior Estimating and Manufacturing Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior experience working in CNC or metal shop is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Enthusiastic about learning
  • Must love client interaction and be able to manage projects for multiple clients
  • Strong technical skills
