Responsibilities of the Senior Manager Retail Accountant will include:

  • Ensures compliance with leasing standards, and new software
  • Leads and develops team members from back-office function
  • Manage sales and audit team to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Writes, implements and monitors retail policies
  • Work directly with stakeholders to maintain relationships
  • Act as technical accounting lead on development of forecasts, budgeting, and variance explanations

Requirements of the Senior Manager Retail Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification required
  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting or progressive financial experience in a large retail company
  • 5+ years of corporate auditing experience
  • Strong and extensive knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functionality
