Senior Payroll Manager

Our healthcare client in Exeter, NH is seeking candidates for a full-time, direct hire Senior Payroll Manager role! This opportunity requires a skilled person to manage the payroll team and oversee the biweekly payroll processing, as well as ensure all reporting requirements are being met. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of high-volume payroll experience is required.

Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Manager

• Ensure biweekly payroll is completed accurately and efficiently
• Oversee the day-to-day payroll activities
• Identify areas of improvement within payroll processing and implement changes
• Ensure all state and federal reporting requirements are met
• File tax returns
• Ensure payroll software is working properly and meets the needs of the organization
• Perform other related tasks and projects

Qualifications of the Senior Payroll Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and requirements
• Ability to manage a team
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
