Senior PCB Solderer

An electronics company is looking for a Senior PCB Solderer to join their first shift team in Portsmouth, NH! In this position, you will perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic components while also leading and training fellow employees. This is a great full-time, long-term role in a relaxed, drama-free workplace.

Responsibilities of the Senior PCB Solderer

  • Perform detailed assembly, soldering, and inspection of electrical components on printed circuit boards
  • Use soldering irons, basic hand tools, microscope, and assembly fixtures
  • Solder and inspect the following under magnification: miniature connectors, SMT discrete components, BGAs, and wires
  • Follow work instructions, assembly notes, schematics, and drawings to complete electronic assembly operations to customer specifications
  • Inspect product to verify conformance to workmanship standards
  • Train other employees in advanced soldering/inspection skills as required
  • Support and follow all company quality standards
  • Adhere to company safety rules and maintain ESD-safe work environments

Qualifications of the Senior PCB Solderer

  • 3-5 years of relevant soldering and/or inspection experience
  • Current IPC or J-STD soldering certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree or certificate in related manufacturing/quality discipline is a plus
  • Self-motivated quick learner who can work with minimum supervision
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and high level of personal integrity
  • Dedicated with solid attendance record
  • Prior Team Lead experience is a plus

The Senior PCB Solderer works Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $20-23/hour. Apply today!
