Our successful Londonderry, NH client is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for their team! This full-time, first-shift role is perfect for a well-organized individual with one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator

• Manage all outbound shipments
• Generate bills of lading and weigh containers
• Utilize thorough knowledge of shipping practices, available means of transportation and rates
• Operate hand trucks and forklift trucks
• Perform packing operations
• Contact carriers, as necessary, to arrange pick up of items ready for shipment and trace lost shipments
• Assist with inventory cycle counts
• Perform shipping and inventory transactions utilizing company MRP system
• Prepare and file shipment paperwork
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Help unload trucks and store materials as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Shipping Coordinator

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Familiar with inventory methods and practices and good knowledge of commercial enterprise
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to perform an active role including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
