Sr. Production Planner/Forecaster

Our client needs a strong communicator with experience in a heavy industrial and/or very highly complex planning capacity for their direct hire Sr. Production Planner/Forecaster role!  You will be responsible for production planning for a large facility, providing leadership to production schedulers, and creating production forecasts.  This opportunity requires being hands on with the floor and planning/scheduling every day.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Production Planner/Forecaster

• Create and maintain annual and quarterly manufacturing forecasts
• Maintain forecasted revenue targets, highlight issues daily, and provide recommendations for solutions
• Serve as a leader for the Production Schedulers, helping to autonomously resolve production concerns with colleagues and team
• Drive results within the department
• Initiate cross-functional collaboration
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications of the Sr. Production Planner/Forecaster

• 5+ years Production Planning experience required
• Excellent communication skills to convey critical manufacturing information to senior leadership in a professional and presentable manner
• Ability to drive teamwork in cross-functional disciplines with peers and management
