Staff Accountant

An established Rutland area company is now hiring for their full time Staff Accountant role. You’ll join a small, friendly team in a casual, yet professional environment. If you have A/P experience, a sense of humor, and aren’t afraid to ask questions, then this could be a great fit!

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Enter payable invoices into ERP system
• Process payments
• Apply G/L codes to invoices
• Complete journal entries
• Create and maintain a chart of accounts
• Develop Excel spreadsheets, enter data, and work with formulas
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

• Accounting degree (at least Associate’s) preferred and/or related work experience
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills

This role works flexible first shift hours, Monday through Friday. Pay for this Staff Accountant position depends on experience. We look forward to hearing from you!
