From 2006 – 2016 she was the Branch Manager for Staff Hunters of Portsmouth. Prior to moving to the east coast, Amber worked for two large, national, staffing firms. Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

Staff Accountant – Dover, NH

Join a financially stable organization with a meaningful mission as a Staff Accountant! You will perform a variety of accounting functions in this full-time, hybrid position that works both from our client’s office in Dover, NH and from home. There is room to grow in this position where a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role are required!

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

  • Perform day-to-day journal entries
  • Reconcile accounts and perform monthly close
  • Create reports and analyze accounts
  • Review accounts payable entries
  • Assist with accounts payable, when necessary

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 2+ years of related accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Team player who doesn’t mind assisting others, when needed
