Staff Accountant/Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our manufacturing client in Hudson, NH! Your job will be to support the Controller in all aspects of accounting including cash management and processing payroll. This is a full-time opportunity where prior experience in manufacturing is strongly desired!
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant/Payroll Administrator
- Reconcile all bank accounts, credit cards, and accounts payable
- Update schedules that track A/P and A/R accounts
- Supervise accounts payable and assist in resolving any discrepancies
- Assist in monthly closing process (adjusting journal entries, monitoring accounts for discrepancies, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations)
- Process timesheets
- Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll files
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant/Payroll Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
- 1-2 years of similar work experience required
- Prior working knowledge of ADP payroll and EPICOR ERP is a plus
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
