A busy office is looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor for their Stewardship Program Coordinator position. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule and is currently remote, but is expected to return to the office on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities of the Stewardship Program Coordinator

  • Manage the design, creation, and order fulfillment of gift program and associated budget
  • Collaborate with colleagues in multiple departments to onboard new vendors, including licensing, insurance, and trademark registration
  • Serve as the point of contact for the creation and stewardship of endowed funds and memorials
  • Prepare documentation and draft correspondence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Stewardship Program Coordinator

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of experience in development work in higher education or similar field
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and comfort in interacting with faculty, administrators, and donors
  • Good judgment with the ability to handle highly confidential material
  • Demonstrated excellence and facility in writing and editing
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to learn and use various web-based financial systems and understand endowment and fiscal systems
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader/Pro, and FileMaker Pro
  • Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently and demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills

This role works Monday through Friday with flexible hours – 7:30am-4:30pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm. While currently fully remote, you’ll eventually return onsite for 2-3 days per week.
