Swiss Machinist

A medical device manufacturer is seeking a skilled Swiss Machinist to join the team at their Seabrook, NH facility. Both first and second shift hours are available. This is a great direct hire opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Swiss Machinist

• Operate, set up, and edit programs on CNC Swiss Machines
• Monitor equipment and tooling during production and adjust as needed
• Periodically inspect parts to ensure consistent dimensional and visual quality
• Follow instructions on process sheets, drawings, and/or programs
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and other team members as needed
• Review programs to eliminate errors, and retest programs to check that problems have been solved
• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
• Assist others to troubleshoot their work
• Keep the work area clean and safe, and observe all quality system procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Swiss Machinist

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Citizen Swiss or Tsugami machines
• 5+ years of experience is preferred
• Ability to set up and prove out new work, edit programs, and build fixtures
• Willing to learn and coach others
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to change tools and offsets
• Experience with stainless steel is a plus
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Current openings are available Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-11:30pm. Pay depends on experience, ranging up to $30/hour. Apply today for this direct hire Swiss Machinist role!
