Join a well-established manufacturer in Rochester, NH as a Troubleshooting Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift! You’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment used to produce high-quality rubber components. If you have previous experience in a similar role and proven mechanical aptitude, then don’t miss this full-time, direct-hire opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Troubleshooting Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift

  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, facility assets, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance
  • Read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions and operation manuals
  • Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
  • Clean, repair, and install equipment and machinery components
  • Use a wide variety of hand and power tools
  • Weld and machine custom components
  • Perform general maintenance work on facility

Qualifications of the Troubleshooting Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift

  • High school diploma or equivalent; tech/vocational background preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role
  • Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools (must supply own hand tools)
  • Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability
  • Physical dexterity
  • Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Welding and machining experience
  • Ability to perform an active job including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

Hours for this Troubleshooting Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift position are Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-2:00am. We look forward to hearing from you!
