Wave Solder Machine Operator 

Leading provider of electronics manufacturing services is looking for a Wave Solder Machine Operator in Manchester, NH.

The Wave Solder Machine Operator would be tasked with setting up, programming, and operating production machinery in the Wave Solder/Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities of the Wave Solder Machine Operator:

  • Set up, program and operates production machinery in the Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Reads and interprets Visual Aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery.
  • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
  • Utilizes quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
  • Inspects PCB’s for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.
  • Provides proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and updates records as needed.
  • Provides assistance to Manufacturing Engineering in the repair and upkeep of machinery.
  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.
  • Works under the guidance of Process/Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications of the Wave Solder Machine Operator:

  • High School diploma and or GED or equivalent work experience.
  • May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Knowledge of Production machinery preferably (Wave Solder, Selective Solder, and Aqueous Cleaning)
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Shift:  Monday- Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay ranges between $16-18/hour depending on experience.
