A successful, family run business is now hiring Weaving Machine Operators to help produce their high-tech textiles. Both 2nd and 3rd shift are available, and all levels of experience will be considered!

Responsibilities of the Weaving Machine Operator – 2nd or 3rd shift

  • Operate weaving machines
  • Set up looms and monitor for quality
  • Check woven fabric for defects and perform minor repairs as necessary
  • Change spools and yarn when needed
  • Finish and remove fabric from loom
  • Help keep work area clean and organized
  • Complete paperwork
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Weaving Machine Operator – 2nd or 3rd shift

  • 2 years of experience weaving or 3 years of experience working in the textile industry preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and specifications
  • Ability to identify various weave patterns and fabric types as well as yarn twists, colors, and other characteristics
  • Knowledge of types of knots used in the weaving process and experience using a reed hook are a plus

Second shift pay starts at $21.60/hour once trained and works Monday through Friday from 2:00pm-10:30pm. Third shift pay starts at $20.70/hour once trained and works 10:00pm-6:30am.
