Welder/Fabricator

An established manufacturer is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join the team at its Contoocook, NH facility. Previous welding/fabricating experience or training is required. This great first shift role can lead to a direct hire for the right candidate!

Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator

• Perform Mig, Tig, and Stick welding of parts used to assemble sawmill machinery and equipment
• Follow blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Welder/Fabricator

• Minimum 1 year of welding/fabricating experience or training is required
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to bring personal protective equipment and prove welding capability during interview
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay is $25+/hour for experienced candidates. Take the next step in your career by joining this family-owned company as a Welder/Fabricator!
