Window Assembler

A family-owned business is looking for a Window Assembler to join the team at their state-of-the-art Rutland, VT facility. This is a full-time, first-shift position but the company is open to part-time candidates, too, such as parents seeking work during school hours. Responsibilities of the Window Assembler

• Work in window assembling area
• Apply putty to windows to ensure glass is secured in place
• Inspect work for quality
• Use handheld glass cutting tool for special window projects as assigned
• Move windows carefully using pallet jack
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications of the Window Assembler

• No previous experience necessary
• Manual dexterity
• Eye for quality and detail
• Ability to read a measuring tape
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and stand/walk throughout shift

Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with some overtime likely; part-time schedules would occur between those business hours. Pay ranges from $15-$16/hour. This Window Assembler position may lead to a direct hire for the right candidate!
