Maintenance Electrician
Put your skills to work at a successful, growing company as a Maintenance Electrician! This direct-hire role is responsible for the installation and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers
• Test malfunctioning machinery, and diagnose and repair/replace faulty components
• Work with Maintenance Machine Repairer and Maintenance Tool Maker to diagnose issues as needed
• Program and test automated machinery
• Plan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Maintenance Electrician

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Electrical Certifications or Licensing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Visual acuity and attention to detail
• Good computer skills
• Ability to perform an active role and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
