Maintenance Technician
Our growing client needs a Maintenance Technician to keep their production equipment running smoothly. If you have maintenance experience including hydraulic systems, then consider this direct-hire role with great benefits!
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of machinery and equipment
- Inspect machines and machine parts to troubleshoot, locate, and fix malfunctions; adjust and/or replace parts as needed
- Start machines and equipment to test operation following repair
- Set up and operate metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) to make or repair parts
- Modify computer-controlled motion of robot
- Work with Mechanical Engineer to modify sketches or computer-generated designs of machine components, such as hydraulic system and drive mechanism
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous maintenance experience including hydraulics
- Good math and computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
